Kip Moore had me Rocking in my Country Shack this evening.( Monday 14th December)
The one song that me singing my head off to was “ Last Shot” from the album Slow hearts.
This being second album I bought after “ Wildones”.
I was buzzing so much I messaged one of my friends who is a Kip fan 😂, a groovie friend who has a tattoo of Kip Etched inside her heart 🤣. I asked my little friend whether Kips album “ Up all night” was worth buying? . A bit of a daft question really . Of course the answer was going to be yes . After searching on the World Wide Web I decided not to get the older album as I wouldn’t get it before Christmas 🤷🏼♂️😂. So I’ve ordered:
“Wild world” & “Room to spare” . A room to space , The acoustic gig I didn’t manage to get to in Manchester uk , May 26th 2019. A very sad moment. I’ve never wanted so much to attend a gig than I did for that one. I couldn’t believe how quickly the tickets went and all the guys and gals expressing their Joy of grabbing their tickets all over the internet. 🥲. I thought I’d still be in with a chance because of all the ticket sellers saying they had them for sale and how low it was to find out they where sold out 😭. Heart wrenching 🥲😭🥲😭🥲.
Funny thing..
You know , I feel a whole lot better to know that two , Yes , TWO of my new found friends from the grooviest night out of the week went to that gig. ! . Honestly I’m not green with envy 🤣. Honestly I’m telling you now, I’m just glad someone close by witnessed the splendour. Apparently they were rocking and bopping towards the back of the room, which incidentally wasn’t a big room . Positively only few hundred people strong ?. ( I wish I knew how many?)
Manchester was the holy land that evening . So near but so far away when you haven’t a ticket. I did even think of camping out outside to try and hear his voice!👍😂. With of one the best raunchy, rattling rock, soulful country, voices around singing his his heart out 🌟💥🌟🎶.

So for me it was the one that got away , the one that slipped through my grasp🤣!. The best one I ever MISSED 🤣🌟.
Gretchen Peters 😍, was positively the best Country/ Folk gig I’ve been too. I didn’t fluff that one in Southport 🤣. Sat On the middle of the front row , feeling over awed and strangely on edge as I wore my Suzy Bogguss T, shirt ( one of Gretchen’s close friends) and being on my own.. Gretchen sat on the edge of the stage singing her last song “ Love that makes a cup of tea only 3 Feet away from me 😍. ❤️💜❤️. 💥. Yikes! But brilliant 💥😍.
Danni Nicholls was another exquisite moment ..Americana singer from Bedfordshire. Again attending on my own the first time I saw her. Some kind of wonderful in Preston sometime in November 2018 , then in Liverpool at Heavens Gate 19th April 2019 Oow, and meeting her.. there . My heart went a fluttering 🥰 😁.with my Brother attended too . Recollecting these moments still has my heart fluttering 💓😁🌟.
Have you any thoughts, memories of great connections at concerts ? 🥰.
