For you my Dear Grandson. I just wanted to say a few words.I really don’t know how this is going to go with my one finger typing and a broken finger on the same hand.
My house is quiet , at this time of the evening of seven minutes past ten. I’ve just been laying here quietly for a moment . I thought to myself “ you know what Adrian , it’s about time you wrote some words of the feelings I have for my little buddy and Grandson in the Isle of Man 🇮🇲.
I’m not here to explain anything. I really just wanted to send our love to you , Mine and Grandma’s.
💓Yes indeed we miss you with all our hearts still. Even after seven years of you living across the water you remain absent from our every day lives. . We’ve had some really playful times and it’s a dam shame it’s been a struggle to see you , buy Hey you remain strongly in our Hearts.
💓Opening my heart here has been somewhat of a torment for me as I’ve worried if it would go against me with our desire to see you. But it seems to be the way of the world , lots of people are worried about something or other and this year we’ve had the pandemic, but to any Open heart anything is Possible.
💓💓 Opening up with you on our visits has been nothing but an absolute pleasure . Playing with you under the watchful eye of our Private Social worker ( just to keep things above board) was absolutely positively beautiful. If any of you who might be reading these words as parents or Grandparents, aunts , uncles or just friends ,” playing with our kids , getting down there to their level and being a big kid yourself is Awesome . Don’t let a moment go by without immersing yourself into playful acts with our children 🌟😍⭐️.
We , Grandma and I had great times playing on Port Erin Beach . Do you remember us rolling up our trouser legs and jumping the tidal waves as they came in ? Absolutely fabulous, laughing and splashing, what great times. Eating ice cream with you and going into the book shop there to see if we could find you a train that you wanted.Very special moments , I remember it was an incredibly hot day but we weren’t complaining . All the moments shared with you were so much fun. The Museum was great too, learning about the natural history of the island and I loved to see the skeleton of the Giant Red Deer, I’m going to research this creature. I think I can remember reading it originated in Ireland? It certainly was Huge.. . So thank you for wanting to share some of your time with us.😘.
I loved playing with you as I did when you shared our lives on Lancashire soil.
Back on the island I loved skipping and jumping the paving stones, as we walked to the park or the beach or the playground or the cafes we frequented .This was out of this world. If You Alex are reading these words at whatever age you are in the future, I’m sending you a massive hug from Grandma and myself. You mean the world to us , as all our Grandchildren do . You all have different and special Sparkles of your own.
As it’s coming up Christmas again we hope you have a terrific time and I hope you get to enjoy the present we have sent you. It’s only a simple thing but something you can look at ever day.💓💓💓Playing out with you on the various locations on the island took my breath away and actually it did , I guess I’m no spring chicken anymore but this was one of the main reasons why I joined Blast Boot Camp in Southport . To gain a better fitness for myself as well as time spending with you. Now the boot camp days seem to have slid a little or massively. With COVID and Starting hamstring tendon problems . Now I have a broken finger , there’s not much I can do in a camp with a Dougy hand never mind landscaping. Gee whiz a one handed worker! .. I never thought I’d say that about myself.. 🤣 . We’ve tried a few them types out as trainees here at Blue Skies. One hand on their phone and the other on a piece of equipment. No ! It’s doesn’t work, they don’t and it’s not blinking safe either.
Boot camp I aim to get back too but I might need breaking in softly first. Before they break me 🤣. What we do for our bodies also helps our minds.
🌟I’m going to tell you attending Blast Boot Camp was nothing short of awesome. The incredible highs I had after leaving the session were absolutely out of this World. I felt as though could reach the Stars ! . It didn’t always happen but more often than not.
So Alex if you have an adventurous Heart or love sports, YOU go for it. Or even loving Nature 💚 and getting out there playing and experiencing the wonderful natural world with it’s nooks and crannies, it’s bliss xx.
💓🌟 I’ll be leaving you in a moment or two . You are in my Heart , Grandma’s too. Never forget it ..
