- collared Dove. 2
- starling. None
- black bird 2
- green finch none
- Hedge sparrow. ย 1
- wren. None
I will check tomorrow but i think the weather hasnโt helped.
Iโm really not sure about this counting of the birds. I would think itโs the same birds visiting all the time.
The the rarest bird Iโve had in my garden is a ย Gold crest . Though Iโve had some Siskinโs but not for a while. They are beautiful little birds of yellow and green and little black cap on its head.
Another Rare bird , well for me is a YELLOW HAMMER . Although it wasnโt in my garden but in the bit of spare ground Iโve kept chickens ๐ on. They seem to frequent farm yard situations I believe. The Graceful HOODED CROW of course was a magical moment, especially spotting it on the Isle of Man ๐ฎ๐ฒ. โค๏ธ.
So far Iโm thinking this a conspiracy amongst our feathered friends. Itโs a poor showing, the numbers are way down from last weekend on my trial run. Mind you it was better weather last weekend , so I donโt really blame them.
The most Goldfinches Iโve had so far at anyone time is 5 . It was 7 last week. The sparrow population is down too. Hells bells is someone nicking my birds?๐๐๐.
Iโll give you the numbers later on . Ugh … the rain has stopped, so thatโs a blessing. Iโm going to nip into town for a bit and then come back to you .
Have a lovely day and Iโll catch you later..
