I will check tomorrow but i think the weather hasn’t helped.
I’m really not sure about this counting of the birds. I would think it’s the same birds visiting all the time.
The the rarest bird I’ve had in my garden is a Gold crest . Though I’ve had some Siskin’s but not for a while. They are beautiful little birds of yellow and green and little black cap on its head.
Another Rare bird , well for me is a YELLOW HAMMER . Although it wasn’t in my garden but in the bit of spare ground I’ve kept chickens 🐓 on. They seem to frequent farm yard situations I believe. The Graceful HOODED CROW of course was a magical moment, especially spotting it on the Isle of Man 🇮🇲. ❤️.
So far I’m thinking this a conspiracy amongst our feathered friends. It’s a poor showing, the numbers are way down from last weekend on my trial run. Mind you it was better weather last weekend , so I don’t really blame them.
The most Goldfinches I’ve had so far at anyone time is 5 . It was 7 last week. The sparrow population is down too. Hells bells is someone nicking my birds?😂😄💚.
I’ll give you the numbers later on . Ugh … the rain has stopped, so that’s a blessing. I’m going to nip into town for a bit and then come back to you .
Have a lovely day and I’ll catch you later..
Positively Adrian 😜
