This morning as for all my mornings I have the local residents the bird community calling upon my bird table.
Just a few moments ago I witnessed an amazing little bird . It might be common in your garden but certainly isn’t in mine.
I had difficulty in actually saying what it was !. I thought I’d it an Siskin? , No because it didn’t have a black cap on its head . Though I have had these little fluff balls in my garden. Now that’s saying something because my friend Stewart struggles to get them. He’s had everything else like Nuthatches! . A woodland bird . I’m never gonna get one of those! 😆.
Yes so my little bird the this morning was a Greenfinch! . Oh my . It was sitting there on my bird table with its bright Yellowy green feathers. I’m really made up I witnessed it .
He was sat there , I’m saying he because he was! 😁.Yes he was sat there with Goliath!! .
Arh now Goliath hey! , yes I’ve nicknamed our local wood pigeon this because they are massive. Well they could be all named Goliath because I can’t tell them apart 🤣🤷♂️🤣
Getting back to Stewpot . Where he once lived in Heskin , up near the Delpth Quarry, now diving school. His bird table was so majestic , it was better than watching Tv . Oh my word . He had everything apart from Siskin’s. Oh I had to put that in 🤣.
Woodpeckers, jays, crows , all the tits , tree creepers , I’m lucky if I get a great tit never mind the blue kind .
💥I remember the Jays stuffing their faces or crops ! Full of peanuts . One had the Cheek to put 30 ! Yes 30 whole peanuts in him or her . 🤣.
Oh we’ll just thought I’d share with you my little joy.
Just to tell you I’m planning an new post or posts featuring Spotlight on Locations .. Oow interesting hey.
The First location being;Barnard Castle.
It’ll only be a snippet on some fantastic information I’ve received lately. I’m no expert but I know someone and I’ll be asking him more of how the little town lives .
