Smashing, cracking, Great! 💫

It’s Coming to the end of magical Tuesday as I sit here in my bed writing to you. Today for me has been good. I managed to get through quite a bit of paperwork but I never seem to complete the task in hand. There’s always little bit of elusive invoicing or filing away that slips through my fingers. Hopefully I’ll complete it this week.
There’s plenty to do yet. I need to get in the gardens and get some work done. This rain is holding me back, plus I’ve only bought one present off my mindful Christmas list. This means I’ve not written one.. yikes! . Don’t panic Mr Mannering! 😂. Do you remember Dad’s Army? . Well it’s still on the channel ‘Gold’ if you want to catch up on a little harmless laughter. 

I wish to tell you about my Magnificent evening at Linedancing. Although all my friends weren’t there tonight, so I didn’t have the pleasure of their company. There’s always next week. That being our Christmas party night. Oh splendid. I did wonder tonight if I was gonna have a normal evening of being, stressed or flustered at not getting a dance right or not getting up for one like I did earlier. That dance being ‘ Thunderbird’s’ . I should of done it really. Now it’s going take me even longer to learn it. One I did get up for was ‘Corn’ and that’s another I don’t really know. I struggled through that one, but I stayed on the floor. That’s the main thing. One will not learn standing on the sidelines. All in all I had a brilliant night , chatting to some my friends and my Teacher Donna. I had to ask if she was okay, as she looked a little quiet. She’s so lovely.  So this brings to the Golden moment of the evening….

“Waves of Love “ !. Donna asked if she should put waves of love on and I said Oow heck ! .I’m standing in the middle so there’s people around me or I’m standing by Fred . Fred is one the most experienced dancers in the room. There’s not much he doesn’t know! .Waves of love  is one those dances I like a lot and yet most of the time I fluff it. It has that many turns it , if you don’t know it properly it’s so easy to get lost in it.  Donna announced that the dance was coming on next. So yes I stood next to Fred after a frightful thought he wasn’t going to dance . The panic was short lived as Fred entered to floor again, phew ! 🤣.
Fred said we start the dance going to the left , so that made 100% better for me knowing where it started. I was cool , calm and relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Oh that’s only the second time I’ve hit the hight in this dance. Being RELAXED on the dance makes all the difference. I smashed it ! I felt absolutely in awe. Real proud moment for me.. I haven’t even tried to do the swaying arm movements, a hummm baby steps please! .If you fancy,  Look the dance up on YouTube and you’ll see what I mean . “All the kings horses “ is another dance I completed this golden evening.
So my good friends I’m going cut this message shorter it’s getting late into the early hours of Wednesday morning.
So I can tell you my biggest lesson today was , “ just blinking RELAX” . We get far more done with a relaxed body and mind” .
