Sunday Driver oops !π( love that Line Dance – thanks to Donna and incredible friends for teaching it ! ) π, Sunday Β Dreaming of catching any mysterious wild creature in the Lancashire country side . This was my thought this morning whilst driving out towards an destination Less traveled lately. It sometimes can be a wonderful drive, usually I see some sort of magic going on. Not this time though .
Especially Β the rare sight I intended to fondly gaze on. Driving through Hare and Deer π¦ country my eyes were peeledππ.
The only elegance I witnessed was a Buzzard being mocked by a crow.
π I did notice the many different shades of green in the grasslands and cereal fields. Against the grey skies it looked striking and soothing. My journey from the increasingly newly built up areas of Hesketh Bank through to Cocker Bar, Bretherton. My Drive , my search for a Β fish , commonly know as Grass Carp , located at an aquatic nursery .Iβm Β afraid to say They didnβt have any. My journey wasnβt wasted , I sourced the fish else where and they are on order for next week.
πOn my travels I remembered another location I had to go to to take a photo. You might think Iβm a little strange on this one but this is sheer quaintness in my eyesππ. Indeed the the most quirky of countryside garden fencing. It goes down in my diary as the Best Fence Iβve seen. Sorry !!! π I did say you might think Iβm strange. I do agree sometimes but I love who I am. Yes have a few strengths to freshen up on but apart from this Iβm incredibly excited and proud of myself π₯°ππ₯πͺ.Sheer quaintness coming up !! πππ
What do you think? , I agree itβs better seeing it in person.
I also wish to share with you , a breath of a moment whilst reading an article from the magazine I was telling you about in my last post.
The article entitledΒ Take a walk on the wild side.Itβs an incredible good read. Β About introducing plants and trees to your garden to encourage wildlife .
The one thing that makes your green space into a haven for wildlife is a garden pond. A well planned pond with planting shelves and shallows for Birds to bathe , Β marginal plants and wildlife to thrive. Itβs amazing how by installing a little bit of a wildlife pond in your garden and with moving water . For me personally I love big features but if you only have a small space , you can create an little wildlife aquatic oasis in the tiniest of spaces. Perhaps using an old oak barrel or tub . Itβs amazing How quick the wildlife comes visiting and stays. Ponds can be so interesting and a tranquil place to sit by and relax to the rhythm of the buzzing Of insects , fluttering of damsel flys and the like. The sounds of the rippling water so relaxing too.
Hows your day been today?. Did you have your Date with Nature ?π. It certainly turned into a blue sky day. YES ! Love them.
My Friends Iβm going to leave Β You here. Here with your own thoughts . Hoping Iβve triggered something for you of somewhere you might want to visit in the very near future πΏ.
Sending you Hugs ,
Keep smiling,Β
Keep shining ππ
