The odd person, meaning the specialist doctors of the world apparently said that my sister wouldn’t reach her teenage years . Well she’s blasted that theory out of the air. Like a big puff of smoke , whoosh gone!.
Louise is still going strong even though she’s had some health scares along the way in recent years.
This story comes to mind because of a photo collage I’ve been wishing to make over a few weeks now. I’ve finally found the inspiration to root through my piles of photographs in books and loose in a box . My mum has done us proud with saving lots of photos and even letters my sister wrote to my Mum. Very touching letters Louise wrote when she lived in a residential home in Maghull. I think Lou’ lived there for about eighteen months, going off my recollection . So it might be different as I’m going off my memory as a child of my early teens I think. As I was rustling through the piles of photos, I read the note from Louise to my Mum. She wrote along the words of a pleading, heartfelt letter of wanting to leave the home and come home.. so touching.. 💔.
My sister was placed in this home because it was about the time when my Mum was visiting hospital because of her addiction to alcohol. My Mum stayed the Hospital 3 times for this problem and was still unable to beat the addiction. She lived with it all my life and hers . It’s a shame but there you go. My Mum had a Sponsor but that turned out to be a waste of time. I remember him saying to me as a child of a youngster , “ look after your Mum while I’m not here” .
Erm… what exactly could I do ? . Take the bottle out of her hand.
It turned out we had to pay him off shortly at my Mum died as he’d somehow got his name of the house deeds.
Changing the view as it’s leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
Back to the Collage it’s looking pretty good , if I may say so.
This is just a loving gesture for my sister as she continues her life in lockdown. We are very near seeing her again under strict conditions. Hopefully we’ll have news this week. I received a call from the manager on Friday , so things a hopefully moving forward.😁🌟💖.
Anyway guys I’ve probably bored you enough.
Hope your recent days have been rewarding for you. Mine have been very pleasant. Although we’ve had the usual meltdown from kids corner!😂.
Loving you like I do… until we cross paths again. Take it easy!!💖🌟😁
