It’s a crisp starry filled frosty sky this morning. Aye it looks pretty dam cold out there. I’m so fortunate to have a log fire burning, mind you it was nearly out before I encouraged it to burn bright and warm again.
My lower back is still aching this morning, for those who don’t know I hurt my back and I guess it was triggered in the gym again. Hey ho I’m not going to stress my little head about this or anything right now. At the moment I’m am trying to correct myself when the negativity of old try’s to creep in. Aye it tested me last night, so i stopped myself in my tracks and opened myself up to inner love instead. It feels way better than overthinking and being frightened of this that and the other.
This is not why I am here . I am here for the love of birds and some of the most beautiful moments that will stay with me forever. Oow.. now then one ex girlfriend said to my some decades ago.. ‘ nothing is forever.. meaning relationships. Probably in the every day embodiment yes , but spiritually and memory wise could last forever, unless you reset your mind or you set your mind to block things out. The mind can be so so powerful sometimes at blocking memories out, especially painful ones, I guess it’s a defensive or survival ,tactic .
Anyway The love of Birds! . Yes oh my goodness only in the last few days or I ought to say our Grandson weekend I had the MOST DELICIOUS TIME WITH LITTLE ALFIE. ❤️. Grandma and myself took the boys the McDonalds for lunch on the seafront in Southport.
Alfie had in his mind what he wanted to do and that was to feed the birds with some chips. Whilst munching away on his food , he saved half a portion of his chips. We took them outside and whilst everyone else sat in the car across the car park, we , Alfie and I went over to the grassed area , sat on the railed fence line. The time was here to throw the first chip! Oh my it didn’t take long for the mob of birds to arrive haha.( I’ve written this once already but it didn’t save! Omg..)
Mobbed we were by a a sky filled with white wings. Gulls and terns in a frenzy above us. Oh what photo opportunity that would have been. With terns hovering two feet above our heads as Alfie threw the chips into the air. It was an absolute buzz and happy moment for us two kids young and younger! Haha🥰😂. Savouring the loveliest moments with my little one , they don’t stay small and carefree for long.
Alfie has a strong and determined character, very independent, won’t accept help on doing things, like putting his seat belt on in the van or getting dressed. I don’t need any help Grandad ! He will say. Haha , lovely fun little boy.. , sometimes can be challenging though and that’s an experience to behold .. gee! . My first draft of this little story was way bigger and descriptive, I think I’m going to save that extra stuff for a different page. This goes on to talk about the lack of colour and birds in my garden, as well my friends description of it.
